The basket is woven by hand from bamboo and lashed at the rim and neck; the handle is a plain length of bamboo stalk. Three sizes, from a palm-sized scoop to a 40 cm strainer for a family pot.

Questions
Which size should I get?
Go by the basket width. Small (11 cm across) rinses a cup or two of rice or scoops nuts and tea leaves. Medium (15 cm) lifts a portion of noodles or dumplings. Large (19 cm) is for washing vegetables or draining a family-size pot.
How is it different from your gourd water dipper?
The gourd dipper is solid - it holds water and pours it. This strainer is open-weave, so it lets the water go and keeps what is inside.
Each one is woven by hand, so the weave and the green of the bamboo will differ a little from the photos. That is the craft, not a fault.
