A narrow, shallow oval shaped by hand from wild autumn rattan, about 4.7 inches long and just over an inch deep. No coating, no dye: the fibre is left as it comes.

Care
Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep it dry: a bathroom ledge is fine, a wet one is not, since uncoated rattan absorbs water and can soften. Empty it out now and then and give the weave a brush.
Questions
Is it safe for rings and fine jewellery?
The weave is smooth on the inside, but it is fibre, not felt. If you are setting down something soft like gold or a stone with a delicate setting, lay a small cloth in first.
How small is it really?
4.7 inches long by 2 inches wide. It holds a couple of rings, a pin, a tealight. It is not big enough for a watch and a phone together.
Can it live in a bathroom?
On a dry ledge away from the shower spray, yes. Steam alone will not hurt it, but repeated splashing will.
Styling Tip
One by the bed, one by the front door, and the small things stop migrating. It sits well on linen or bare wood: more of the weave in Handwoven Rattan, and the wooden pieces in The Serein Edit.
Hand-shaped from wild rattan, so each piece carries the small irregularities of something made by hand rather than by machine.
