No handle, no plastic, no sponge. The whole brush is one bundle of palm fiber wound tight with copper wire - the bound end is what you hold, the loose end does the scrubbing.

Use it on a wok, a steel pan, the mesh of a colander or a floury cutting board. A cord loop at the top lets it hang by the sink to dry.

What You Get

  • One palm fiber pot brush with a hanging loop

Care

Rinse, shake it out and hang it up to dry. Not for the dishwasher. When the fiber ends wear short, it is time for a new one.

Pairs Well With

Hang it by the sink next to a bamboo strainer or a gourd water dipper from China Finds, with a spoon rest from Olive Wood Kitchenware on the counter beside it.

Questions

Where is the handle?
The wire-wrapped part is the handle. Hold it like a short whisk broom and scrub with the open end.

Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Rinse it under the tap and hang it to dry - palm fiber does not like sitting wet.
