Most garlands arrive already strung, which means someone else decided the spacing. This one comes as ten loose wooden pieces and one long jute rope. Hang them in a row, or hang a single acorn off a doorknob.
Each piece is laser-cut from thin wood and layered - the pinecone scales and acorn caps are separate pieces glued on. Stained rather than painted, so the grain still reads.

Care
Dust with a dry cloth. Keep it indoors and out of damp - thin stained wood will cup if it takes on moisture. Store the pieces flat between seasons.
Questions
Does it arrive strung?
No. Ten pendants and one uncut rope, so you set the spacing yourself - or leave the rope in the drawer and hang pieces one at a time.
Is the colour painted on?
Stained, not painted. The grain shows through on every piece, and tone varies board to board.
How do the pieces attach?
Each has a cut hole at the top. Thread the rope through, or knot a loop if you want them to sit at different heights.
Pairs Well With
On a mantel it wants something with weight underneath - a woven bowl, a stack of books, one candle. More natural-material pieces live in The Serein Edit; the woven side of the shop is Handwoven Rattan.
Every pendant is cut from wood, so grain and tone vary a little piece to piece. That is the material, not a fault.
