See shipping policy See return policyHoney off a spoon goes everywhere. The grooves on a dipper hold it long enough to get it from the jar to the toast, which is a small problem solved properly.
Turned from Mediterranean olive wood in one piece, 6 inches long, polished smooth so the honey releases cleanly rather than clinging in the finish.

Care
Rinse in warm water and dry immediately with a cloth. A little mild soap is fine for a sticky dipper; no soaking and no dishwasher. If the wood starts to look dry, work in a few drops of food-grade mineral oil. Store it dry rather than standing in the honey jar.
Questions
Can I leave it in the jar?
Better not to, long term. Sitting in honey keeps the wood permanently damp, and the grooves are harder to clean once honey has crystallised in them. Rinse and dry it after use.
Does it work with thick or set honey?
The grooves need honey that flows to load properly. Set or crystallised honey will sit on the surface instead of in the grooves, so a spoon does that job better.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. Dishwasher heat dries the wood out and will eventually crack the turned grooves. Warm water and an immediate dry.
Styling Tip
Left in a small dish next to the tea things, it looks deliberate rather than stored. See the rest of the olive wood in Olive Wood Kitchenware, or a woven cup to stand it in from Handwoven Rattan.
Handmade, so each dipper carries its own grain pattern and its own colour, from pale honey to deep brown.
