The supermarket jar works fine, and it also looks like a supermarket jar. This is the version that can stay on the counter next to the kettle without you thinking about it.
A turned olive wood pot holding 6 ounces, 4.7 inches tall and 3.7 inches across, with a matching 6-inch dipper. Both pieces come from the same wood, so the grain runs the same way.
What You Get

- 1 × olive wood honey dipper, 6 in

Care
Wipe the pot out with a damp cloth and dry it at once; do not submerge it or fill it with water to soak. Rinse the dipper in warm water and dry it immediately. Neither piece goes in the dishwasher. If the wood looks dry, a few drops of food-grade mineral oil rubbed in will bring it back.
Questions
Will honey soak into the wood?
Olive wood is dense and close-grained, so honey sits on the surface rather than soaking through. Wipe the pot out between refills rather than letting a layer build up and crystallise.
How well does the lid close?
It is a turned wooden lid that sits into the rim, so it keeps dust out and holds the dipper in place. For anything beyond everyday use, keep the bulk of the honey in its jar and decant what you will get through.
How much honey does 6 oz actually hold?
Roughly a small supermarket jar's worth. It is sized for what sits on a breakfast table, not for bulk storage.
Styling Tip
It belongs with the tea things rather than in a cupboard, and it holds its own next to ceramic. More wood in Olive Wood Kitchenware; something woven to group it with in Handwoven Rattan.
Natural grain variation means every pot looks slightly different from the photographs, and from every other pot.
