Care
Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Keep it out of standing water and away from prolonged direct sun. The bamboo handles want the same treatment as the weave: dry, ventilated, no soaking.
Questions
Is it light enough to carry one-handed?
Loaded, no. It is light empty, but the handles are set on opposite sides and it is meant to be lifted with two hands.
Will a hot mug mark it?
A hot base can scorch or dry the fibre over time, and condensation from a cold glass can stain it. Use a coaster for either.
Do the bamboo handles match the rattan exactly?
No. Bamboo and rattan take colour differently, so the handles usually read a shade lighter or cooler than the weave. That contrast is intended.
